The Munchkins painted leaves for the 2025 Sunderland Maple Syrup Festival . Scheduled for April 5th and 6th this year. The leaves will be displayed on a special maple tree with leaves painted by Brock Township Schools and the Cannington Skating Club. They are part of the amazing Maple Leaf initiative that was created, founded and funded by The Grant House Bed and Breakfast located in Beaverton, Ontario. Thank you to The Grant House Bed and Breakfast owners, Lore Grant and John Grant for the time and care that you put into this wonderful vision to expand art appreciation in our community. The Munchkins thoroughly enjoyed painting their works and taking part in this awesome project.
When you are at the festival, look and see if you can spot the special tree to view all of the talented young artists works. Including a super cool 3D painted leaf that the Munchkins created amongst their other pieces. No need to bring your 3D glasses, Munchkin Place will be providing a pair which will be available at the festival.

The owner of Munchkin Place, artist Candace Veinotte's painted leaf for the Maple Leaf Challenge.
